The life lesson that drawing has taught me

This one would be short. It’s about the life lesson that drawing has taught me and I realised it just today. It was while doing a quick drawing in my sketchbook at work. Oh, the things we do to make use of our time and feel like ourselves while being somewhere else.

It was so simple. In order to achieve something in your life, you need to build up the whole picture. Like a painter using layers. You need to slowly make it better to make it work.

Add some shading.

Add new marks.

Erase stuff and make it better again.

Step backward and have a better look. THINK. Resume.

What took me so long?

If you can’t add up anything better at the moment, leave it aside and come back to it later and give it your best.

It’s the same with life. It’s the picture we draw ourselves and want to like it.

So draw what you love and love your life (most of the time:))

About Kremi

Hello everyone! My name is Kremi and welcome to my blog about cycling and all the other stuff that come up to my mind in the meanwhile! This is something I’ve wanted to do for such a long time now, to share my cycling experiences and emotions with you. I had never really thought that cycling would bring me this much joy and feeling of freedom. What was I doing until now really? But better start late than never after all. Anyway, I often go on day trips with the local cycling groups to explore the sights nearby. It’s ofter in a over 50 km range, which turns into a good exercise too:) You will often see me post pictures from my solo trips, when I usually stop somewhere nice and quite and do some reading or drawing (my other two ever so ovely and favorite hobbies). So stay tuned and I’ll be more than happy to hear back from you too!
